After learning about the stock market, Dale Zamzow made the switch from teaching teenagers science to teaching potential new traders. He particularly enjoys teaching a strategy known as news trading.
"I chose to focus on news trading because news happens every day," Dale said. "There's never a day when there's no news and you always have a chance to catch that knee-jerk reaction of the people entering the market. That really intrigues me, even to this day, that one little piece of news can cause an emotional response to buy or sell, and that we can potentially pull a little bit of money out of it."
His willingness to teach others how to use the strategies has helped make Dale a very popular instructor. He also enjoys teaching students how to use Fibonacci Lines and Bollinger Bands, a pair of indicators that may possibly help improve entries and exits and establish more accurate targets.
In addition to news trading, Dale enjoys teaching a particular strangle strategy known as the "Chicken Trade." The regular "Chicken Trade" is built around the quarterly earnings period, but Dale has developed a variation on the strategy that makes it a potential daily play.
